COACH DEPARTURES ORGINATING IN SPAIN
Sunday Day 1 COSTA DEL SOL/ALGECIRAS/CEUTA/FEZ
Board your motorcoach for the drive to Algeciras and continue by ferry crossing the Strait of Gibraltar to Ceuta, a Spanish enclave in North Africa. From here continue to the Moroccan border for passport control. Once these formalities have been completed, proceed directly to Fez with a brief stop en route. (420 kms). Two nights stay at the PARC PALACE OR ROYAL MIRAGE HOTEL OR CROWN PALACE HOTEL (5-star). (D)
Monday Day 2 FEZ
Breakfast at the hotel then depart on a morning tour of the first Imperial City of Morocco founded
in the IXth century. Visit the Jewish and Christian quarters, the Royal Palace (outside view) and the Medina which has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO with its mosques and university. Pass the Nejarine Fountain to the Tanners Quarter with its hustle and bustle. Pause for an optional lunch (cost not included). In the afternoon a panoramic tour and some free time for shopping. (Optional “A Local Wedding in Fez,” a spectacular show-parody of a traditional wedding ceremony while you dine in typical Moroccan style.) (B/D)
Tuesday Day 3 FEZ/MEKNES/BENI-MELLAL/ MARRAKECH
Following breakfast at the hotel depart for Meknes, another Imperial city founded in the 17th century and declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1996. A panoramic tour of the city before heading towards Khenifra crossing over the Middle Atlas Mountains. Pause for an optional lunch (cost not included) in Beni-Mellal known for its juicy oranges. End the day in fascinating Marrakech, one of the four Imperial Cities arriving at the ATLAS MEDINA HOTEL OR ROYAL MIRAGE HOTEL. (5-star) for your two night stay. (517 kms.) (B/D)
Wednesday Day 4 MARRAKECH
After breakfast a panoramic visit of the red city including the popular Menara Gardens, the Saadian Tombs illustrating the history of the Saadian Dynasty, the El Bahai Palace built by the Grand Vizier Si Ahmed Ben Moussa, the Jewish Quarter and the Koutoubia Minaret, the most famous building in North Africa. Time for an optional lunch (cost not included) before continuing on to the Medina for free time to shop. At the Djemaa El Fna Square see snake charmers, acrobats, water sellers and scribes writing letters for the illiterate. Thursday Day 5 MARRAKECH/CASABLANCA/RABAT
Breakfast at the hotel then depart for Casablanca, the economic capital of the Kingdom. A brief stop in Settat before arriving in Casablanca where a panoramic tour featuring the exterior of the dazzling Hassan II Mosque will be provided (interior visit not included). Time for an optional lunch (cost not included). Afterwards head for Rabat, another Imperial city with a long history as a capital city. Overnight will be either in Casablanca at the 5-star GOLDEN TULIP or Rabat at the 5-star HOTEL RABAT. Sightseeing tours of both cities are guaranteed. (329 kms.) (B/D)
Friday Day 6 RABAT/TANGIER
Following breakfast a morning city tour which includes the exquisite Tower of Hassan (XII century), the busy Kasbah and the imposing Royal Palace (exterior view). Next is the Mohammed 5th Mausoleum begun on the death of the king in 1961. Also see the ruins of the old Mosque. A brief stop will be made in Larache for an optional lunch (cost not included) before heading toTangier. A panoramic tour of Tangier en route to the HOTEL EL MINZAH (5-star). (280 kms.) (B/D)
Saturday Day 7 TANGIER/CEUTA/ALGECIRAS/COSTA DEL SOL

DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT
A deposit in the amount of $400.00 Cdn. per person is required at the time of booking together with the single supplement if required. Written confirmation will be issued only after the deposit has been received. The balance of payment is due 9 weeks prior to departure. Reservations within this period must be accompanied by full payment. If insurance is required, the premium must be submitted at the time of deposit.
INSURANCE
Comprehensive trip cancellation insurance to protect against loss of monies incurred through cancellation due to illness, etc. As well as personal travel insurance for baggage and accident coverage is available through Canadian Travel Abroad Ltd. and must be taken out at the time of booking with the premium being remitted with the deposit. Once paid, the premium becomes
non refundable. A signed waiver will be required if the insurance is declined.
CANCELLATION
All cancellations and requests for refund must be received in writing at the offices of Canadian Travel Abroad Ltd. within 30 days of the termination of the tour and shall be considered in effect as of the date received.
Cancellations or changes made up to 60 days prior will be subject to a cancellation penalty of $300.00 Cdn. per person. Those received between 59 and 30 days prior will be charged 30% of the tour cost. Between 29 and 15 days prior, the penalty will be 50% of the tour cost. All later cancellations will be subject to a penalty of the full cost of the tour. There will not be any refund for unused accommodation and arrangements. Any substitution of a passenger(s) will be considered a cancellation of the original reservation and applicable cancellation charges will apply.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION
All participants must be in possession of a passport that is valid for a minimum of 6 months after the return of the tour and should have sufficient blank pages for visas and immigration stamps. Canadian Travel Abroad Ltd. cannot be held responsible should any participant be denied entry due to non compliance to these requirements. At the present time Canadian citizens do not require a visa to enter Morocco.
CHANGES
Any revisions, changes or alterations to the reservation once confirmed will be subject to a handling fee of $125.00 Cdn. per person. NOTE: Changes or adjustments to reservations will not be accepted within 35 days prior to departure. Should cancellation by one or more passengers change the room requirements of the remaining passenger, the passenger must pay the applicable rate for the accommodation required.
PHYSICIAL DISABILITIES
Any physical condition requiring special attention or treatment must be brought to the attention
of Canadian Travel Abroad Ltd. at the time of booking. Please note Canadian Travel Abroad Ltd. and/or their agents will not be able to provide special care for participants who require assistance.
GRATUITIES
Are not included in the program and are at the discretion of the individual traveler based on the level of satisfaction provided.
SPECIAL REQUESTS
Pertaining to adjoining or connecting rooms, bedding requests, smoking or non smoking rooms and special dietary requests etc. must be placed in sufficient time and although Canadian Travel Abroad Ltd. will do their utmost to accommodate these special requests, we cannot be held responsible if such requests are not fulfilled.
TOUR DOCUMENTATION DELIVERY
Travel documents are usually issued 21 – 14 days prior to departure provided that full payment has been received. In the event that the late payment results in the late delivery of documents, Canadian Travel Abroad Ltd. will not accept any responsibility fro the consequences thereof and reserves the right to charge for courier expenses. Documents will be sent out first class mail. However, should you prefer to have your documents sent by overnight courier, you will be advised of the additional charges which must be included with your final payment.
COSTS
All costs quoted herein are in Canadian dollars and are per person sharing based on tariffs and exchange rates in effect as of August 14, 2008. Canadian Travel Abroad Ltd. reserves the right
to increase the tour prices without prior notice to cover increased costs, tariffs and taxes that are received after the rate has been published and is under no obligation to provide a breakdown of
costs involved.
OPERATORS RESPONSIBILITY
All arrangements for accommodation, transportation and sightseeing are made by Canadian Travel Abroad Ltd., and/or their appointed representatives who act only as agents in obtaining transportation, accommodation and other services for the tour members. They shall not be liable or held responsible directly or indirectly for any delay, injury (including death) loss or damage to any person, company or association providing accommodation, transportation or other services in connection with the tour.
The right is reserved to withdraw all of part of the tour should conditions warrant and to make such alterations in the itinerary as may be found desirable for the convenience of the tour members and proper execution of the tour. The right is also reserved to decline to accept or retain any person(s) as member(s) of the tour in which case equitable refund will be made at the discretion of the operators.
SPECIAL NOTE
The right is reserved to change or cancel the pre-arranged itineraries including designated hotels if reasons beyond our control arise. Pursuant to the Travel Industry Act Regulations if price changes cause an increase of over 7% of the confirmed price (except for government taxes) or there is a change in the standard of accommodation or a delay of over 24 hours in transport arrangements
of which we become aware prior to departure, you will be notified and given 48 hours to advise us
of your desire to cancel the tour with a full refund. Otherwise, you will be considered to have accepted the change(s).
A Special Reminder: Please be advised that there may be living standards and practices different from Canadian standards with respect to the provision of utilities, services and accommodation. Canadian Travel Abroad Ltd. strongly recommends that before travelling overseas you should obtain the latest travel information reports on countries visited from Foreign Affairs Canada or the U.S. State Department.
