Day 1 Saturday - Kiev

You will be met and transferred to your hotel. Welcome dinner tonight in a typical Ukrainian restaurant.

Day 2 Sunday  - Kiev

Morning sightseeing tour of Ukraine’s capital features some of the most impressive sights of this
ancient city, such as the stunning ‘onion-domed’ St. Sophia Cathedral, home to a breathtaking collection of mosaics and frescoes; St. Vladimir Cathedral with wonderful frescoes and bustling main boulevard Kreschatyk. See also the Golden Gate, the only remaining section of ancient Kiev’s original fortications. Then fascinating Lavra Monastery, one of the city’s prime tourist and pilgrim sites. We will take a guided tour of some of the highlights of the complex, including The Museum of Historical Treasures.

Day 3 Monday - Vinitsa & Kamenets - Podolsky

this morning drive to Vinitsa, passing by cities Zhitomyr and Berdichev. Lunch at local restaurant is followed by visit of Werewolf, the site of former Hitler’s bunker during WWII. Conclude the day in Kamenets- Podolsky. Dinner.

Day 4 Tuesday - Ternopol to Lviv

Morning short city tour of Kamenets-Podolsky, the town-museum, including visit to the Fortress. Following, our journey takes us pass former border territory between Poland and Soviet Union; via Ternopol to Lviv, example of cross-culture mixture for
centuries. Dinner

Day 5 Wednesday - Lviv

Lviv is renowned as one of the prettiest towns in Ukraine and its historic centre is protected by UNESCO World Heritage Site. This morning we take in some of city’s highlights, including the Opera house, the Dominican Church and the fascinating Lykachivsky Cemetery, with one of the oldest graveyards in Europe. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore city on your own.

Day 6 Thursday -Krakow

After breakfast we leave Ukraine behind, as we drive through Polish countryside to Krakow. On the way stop in Lancut and visit the Lancut Castle; housing valuable equipment, art and very unique collection of noble carriages. Dinner

 

Day 7 Friday Krakow

Your sightseeing tour starts with a visit to the Wawel Hill, viewing the Royal Castle and visiting the Royal Cathedral. Enjoy a walking tour of the Old Town where you will visit the Main Market Square, Renaissance Cloth Hall and St. Mary's Church. The
afternoon is free for a stroll around the city.

Day 8 Saturday - Krakow to Zakopane
After free morning, drive to Zakopane. Although Zakopane is known as the winter capital of Poland, the town is beautiful and attractive all year round. Stroll along Krupowki street and admire unique Zakopane-style houses and myriad traditional highland inns and restaurants. Visit a beautiful timber lodge of Villa Atma, the old Zakopane cemetery and the 19th-century wooden Old
Church. Dinner with folklore music at local
restaurant.

Day 9 Sunday Zakopane to Budapest

After breakfast, take a ride on a funicular railway to the top of Mount Gubalowka. The summit offers breathtaking views of the Tatra Mountains as well as other ranges. The road to Budapest winds through the lovely hills and countryside of Slovakia, past the Tatras
Mountains and along Danube River. Reach Budapest just in time to relax before dinner.

Day 10 Monday - Budapest
Situated on the opposite banks of the Danube River, the former cities of Buda and Pest are linked by a series of graceful bridges. Your morning sightseeing tour includes views of the decorative Parliament building, seat of the National Assembly; Vaci Utca, a pedestrian street lined with shops and restaurants; Heroes' Square with the Millennium Memorial, 118 foot high Corinthian column dedicated to the Roman Catholic Church, and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The balance of the day is at leisure.

Day 11 Tuesday  - Budapest

Sightseeing tour this morning focuses on the Castle Hill area, the 13th century Matthias Church, Fisherman’s Bastion and Royal Palace. Afternoon is free for last minute shopping or independent exploration. Tonight, enjoy farewell dinner with entertainment in a typical Csarda restaurant.

Day 12 Wednesday - Depart Budapest

After breakfast transfer to the airport.
