Day 1 - Saturday - Madrid

Transfer from Madrid airport to hotel in the city centre. Welcome briefing this afternoon. Tapas dinner in local restaurant. (D)

 

Day 2 - Sunday - Madrid

Panoramic tour of the highlights of Madrid. Visit the Royal Palace, a beautiful example of 18th century architecture. Afternoon at leisure. (B)

Day 3 - Monday - Toledo

Full day tour to Toledo including lunch. Toledo is one of Europe’s oldest cities. You will enjoy a walking tour through the small streets. (B,L)

Day 4 - Tuesday - Madrid - Seville

Seville Transfer to Atocha station for high-speed AVE train to Seville. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel in the city centre. (B)

Day 5 - Wednesday - Seville

Panoramic tour of the capital of Andalucía, the Plaza de España built for the 1929 Expo, the gardens of Maria Luisa Park and the Torre del Oro. A walking tour through the old Santa Cruz Quarter, with flowers, tiles and wrought iron balconies. The Cathedral, built on the site of the former great Mosque, incorporates the original minaret to which a bell tower was added in the 16th Century. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. (B,L)

Day 6 - Thursday - Seville - Cordoba - Granada

Visit Cordoba’s magnificent Mosque, later converted into a cathedral, resulting in an amazing blend of architectural styles. Take in the charm of the Jewish Quarter – its colourful patios decorated with flower pots, bird cages and the

whitewashed walls, fountains and wrought iron. Visit the Synagogue. In the afternoon, continue to Granada. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant within walking distance of the hotel. (B,D)

Day 7 - Friday - Granada - Costa del Sol

Tour the Alhambra; the Alcazaba, the Carlos V Palace, and the Nazari Palaces, and the Generalife Gardens. Enjoy a lunch before the drive to the Costa del Sol. (B,L)

Day 8 - Saturday - Costa del Sol

Free day to stroll the beach or explore Torremolinos or Malaga on your own. (B)

Day 9 - Sunday - Costa del Sol - Airport

Transfer to Malaga airport or to your hotel or apartment for the rest of your holiday. (B)
