Day 1 - Saturday - Costa del Sol

Transfer from Malaga airport to hotel. Tapas dinner in local restaurant.

Day 2 - Sunday - Nerja - Granada

Visit the prehistoric caves of Nerja. Continue on to the Alpujarras, known as the ‘Little Switzerland.’ Cooking lessons and lunch. Arrive Granada and see the city from the coach; the great Renaissance cathedral, the old market; the Albaycin quarter, the Plaza Nuevo and the tower of Santa Ana. (B,L)

Day 3 - Monday - Granada

Guided tour of the Alhambra, a fortified city built by the Nazarite Kings, including the Citadel and the Palaces of Los Leones and Comares, the Generalife gardens, and the Palace of Charles V. (B, D)

Day 4 - Tuesday - Granada - Cordoba - Seville

Tour the symbolic mosque of Cordoba which later became a Gothic cathedral. It is a fascinating building with nearly a thousand columns. Later continue to Seville. (B)

Day 5 - Wednesday - Seville

Panoramic tour including Maria Luisa Park. Walk through the old district of Santa Cruz and visit the Cathedral. See the Giralda and the Alcazar, an Arabic Palace outstanding for its Mudejar style and Moorish gardens. (B)

Day 6 - Thursday - Seville - Jerez - Costa del Sol

Jerez is the capital of sherry wine and horse-breeding. Visit one of the famous wineries. Wine tasting. Attend a Horse Riding Show, an equestrian ballet accompanied by Spanish music and 18th Century costumes. Free time for lunch and then continue to the Costa del Sol. (B)

Day 7 - Friday - Costa del Sol

Free day to stroll Torremolinos’ beach promenade or make a trip into Malaga. (B)

Day 8 - Saturday - Costa del Sol - Airport

Transfer to Malaga airport or to another hotel or apartment for the rest of your stay. (B)
